"Why don't the person in front let us know so that the people behind no need to waste time waiting and queuing."
"Hmm, cannot withdraw money? True or not, let me try."
"Why the person don't trust me when I tell him the ATM is out of service?"
"If I know that he won't trust me, why waste my energy to tell him the ATM cannot be used."
"If the person trust me, he will be able to save his time from queuing up lo."
"Sigh, I will still tell them the machine is not working even though they don't trust me, at least I still do a good did."
"No no no, I spent so much time queuing up for nothing, so others must experience the same with me then only fair."
"Selfish fella, don't tell me the machine is not working!"
Those inner voices can come from an individual, a society or even a community. "Sharing is caring" is the statement that I always heard since I was young. We learn to share good things among each other so that everyone can be happy. However, the society now is no longer so bright anymore. Because most people are getting more realistic and competitive among each other. They said if you are considered as commit suicide if you let your enemy win. This theory leads to the selfishness of a person. Well, I would said this is a KIASU act. By just standing at the ATM area in a shopping mall, I was able to identify so many different expressions from those people's face. (LOL, or maybe I'm the one who thinks too much.)
However, most people are easily scared naturally. They will be motivated to do good did after they did a sin or negative acts. But if you are so afraid of he consequences of bad acts, why don't you just remained as a good person? Don't be so contradicting la....think before you act!
